LET’S FACE IT, IT’S A TOUGH TIME TO BE A PARENT RIGHT NOW.
Dealing with the challenges of a global epidemic of COVID, as we are also trying to manage yet another wave of racialized violence, is a lot to take on. I’m working with lots of parents of color who are struggling to protect and prepare their children for the racialized world around them. I am also working with white parents who are trying to make a change but don’t know where to start. I too am trying to figure out how to make a difference right now while also raising my three children. So in response to the call of the times, I have created Parenting in Uncertain Times, a 3-part series where I will facilitate a conversation between parents with research backed information and community support. Parenting in Uncertain Times will have three main features:
3 Web-Engagements where you’ll get information and can ask questions;
Cultivation Guides to support your practice
Community Learning Groups where we can connect and provide support to each other.
